Alberton Reeve Mike Hammond looked on as Emo Coun. Gerd O’Sullivan signed an agreement to officially re-designate her municipality as a “Safe Community” last Wednesday afternoon during a ceremony at La Place Rendez-Vous. Representatives from most of the 10 local municipalities and nine area First Nations were on hand for the event, which was hosted by the Rainy River Valley Safety Coalition.
