About 30 participants braved the wet, windy weather Sunday afternoon to make the five-km trek for the CIBC “Run for the Cure.” Women, men, and youngsters walked and ran along the riverfront from the Sorting Gap Marina to Seven Oaks and back for the annual fundraiser, which locally brought in $2,859 for breast cancer research.
