Kathy Smeeth, math co-ordinator for the Rainy River District School Board, was among the “Royal Readers” from across the district who read to students from JK-Grade 4 in their classrooms during the Family Literacy Day activities yesterday at Donald Young School. The day was packed with readings and language activities, plus a book fair with the books supplied by McNally Robinson from Winnipeg.
