Jacob Erickson and Mika Kooistra were the two Rose Bowl winners from this year’s Rainy River District Festival of the Performing Arts, which were presented during the annual “Highlights” concert last Tuesday night at the Townshend Theatre. Erickson was awarded for his performance of Etude, Op. 1, No. 9 by F. Liszt on the piano while Kooistra was awarded for her violin performance of Czardas by Vittorio Monti.
