Jean Boileau presented Katelyn Shortreed with a Rose Bowl for her outstanding performance in the vocal category for this year’s Rainy River District Festival of the Performing Arts following the annual “highlights concert” yesterday evening at the Townshend Theatre. Also presented with a Rose bowl were Melissa Fletcher (drama) and Ursula Chojko-Bolec (piano). Boileau also was recognized last night for the decades of contributions she has made to local theatre and drama.
