Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford spoke at the season opening of the Fort Frances Tourism Centre on Friday. Rickford announced the town will be receiving $1.4 million for reconstruction work on Colonization Road West, as well as $6,588 through the “Celebrate Ontario” program to support events at the Rainy Lake Square. Alberton has also received funding to help in the replacement of Kehl Bridge.
