Julie Lowry, left, and Priscilla Wright were among the few hundred people who came out to the annual Remembrance Day tea, hosted by the local Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary, yesterday afternoon at the Legion here. The always-popular event featured baking and candy tables, meat pies, cabbage rolls, and perogies, as well as a cookie walk, “Pick-a-Poppy,” penny table, door prize, and a 50/50 draw. The tea is the auxiliary’s most important fundraiser each year.
