Dozens of people turned out to the veterans memorial in Couchiching First Nation on Monday, November 11, 2024, to take part in their annual Remembrance Day ceremony. Dignitaries from organizations, services, and other First Nations laid wreaths at the memorial which honours those from Couchiching who served with an armed force during times of conflict and peace, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their countries.
