Emcee Jim Fowler read a remembrance of the late Thunderhawks’ defenceman Clayton “Beef” Windigo prior to Saturday night’s game against the Manitoba Lightning. Windigo’s family joined Fowler on the ice for the brief ceremony, which included the unveiling of his #17 jersey in the Ice For Kids Arena rafters. Windigo died in a swimming accident this past summer.
