“Relay for Life”

Despite the rain, participants in this year’s “Relay for Life” took to the track at Pither’s Point Park Friday event, completing the first lap along with many local cancer survivors. A total of 21 teams braved the soggy weather, walking all night to raise about $50,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
