Heather Johnson, left, outreach worker for the Rainy River District Women’s Shelter of Hope, and Betty Fehr of Northwoods Gallery and Gifts showed off a copy of “Food for Thought: Mind, Body & Soul” on Monday at Northwoods. A limited supply of the book, which features recipes, insightful poems, and inspirational messages contributed by front-line workers, women who have been helped by the shelter, and young women who have gone on retreats, is available there. Proceeds from the book, which costs $15, will go to the shelter.
