Pondering whether or not to take a dip, Byron, a four-year-old Lab/Shepherd cross, stood on the ever-receding ice near Seven Oaks yesterday evening. Ice shacks on area waterways have been replaced with anglers in boats—along with flocks of seagulls and other birds.
