Bill VanDrunen kick-started his 1990 Harley-Davidson Softail Springer before heading out on the highway Saturday morning for the local Alzheimer Society’s eighth-annual “Ride for Memories.” This year’s ride, which ended in Kenora that evening, saw a total of 140 riders raising $27,000—$7,000 of which was brought in by the 36 riders who left from Fort Frances.
