Steve Latimer took some time on Thursday morning to read to a group of Senior Kindergarten students from Robert Moore school and Donald Young school. As retired police officer as well as being involved with the United Native Friendship Centre and the NCDS, Latimer is helping out by being a role model to encourage young boys to read. He was part of the year end wrap for the Boys in Literacy program. This program is a government initiative which provides funding for new books and events such as the one on Thursday.
