Deputy mayor Ken Perry joined local Alzheimer Society board member Carol Derksen, centre, and Client Services co-ordinator Mary O’Connor this morning at the Civic Centre to mark January as “Alzheimer’s Awareness Month” in the Town of Fort Frances. Upcoming events include a “Finding Your Way” identification kit clinic on Jan. 19 at the Fort Frances Senior Centre, the Linda Johnston Memorial roast beef dinner on Jan. 20 in Rainy River, and the “Forget Me Not” fundraiser dinner on Feb. 3 at La Place Rendez-Vous.
