Angelo Daniele of Thunder Bay rode down a railing at the new Kiwanis skate park during the “skate-a-thon” fundraiser Saturday. Daniele and some other skaters were here to check out the park and visit with friends here. The fundraiser saw around 60 pledged youth on skateboards, BMX bikes and in-line skates raise $2,500. M&M Meat Shops also held a fundraiser barbecue that day, with proceeds going to the park. —Duane Hicks photo
