Jamie Davis used every inch of the track (and a couple of inches off it) to try and take the best angle to get to the front of the pack in the WISSOTA Modifieds heat Saturday evening at the Emo Speedway. Davis finished second in his heat but then won the feature as the Borderland Racing Association kicked off its new season with a doubleheader Friday and Saturday–several weeks before its usual start.
