The Good Samaritans team from International Falls dug in hard during their first preliminary race Saturday afternoon at the inaugural FMG Ice Dragons Challenge hosted by the local International Boundary Waters Dragon Boat Club on the ice behind La Place Rendez-Vous here. Six teams–two women’s and four mixed–participated in the event, with the Good Samaritans claiming silver in the women’s division behind the Paddlers Without Borders of Oak Ridge, Tenn. The Rusty Dragons from Toronto claimed top spot in the mixed division.
