“Quest for the Best” rookie Mike McCaig not only won the $1,000 grand prize over Larissa Desrosiers, but also first place in the second set ($500) and People’s Choice in the second set ($100) during the annual singing competiton Friday night. Some 20 acts performed for a full house under the big tent at the Sorting Gap Marina and although it was quite cold by the time it was over, nearly everyone stayed until the very end.
