Pulled out

A pickup truck was pulled out of Rainy Lake near the Noden Causeway on Sunday. As reported in Monday’s Daily Bulletin, the truck—hauling a trailer with a load of flooring—was travelling on an ice road when it went through near the “Five Mile” dock at Couchiching First Nation. The driver and passenger were unharmed, and the vehicle, trailer, and debris were recovered by a local towing company. Police continued to warn the public to be aware of the rapidly-changing ice surfaces due to unseasonably warm weather patterns.
