The JMX Contracting crew prepped the area in front of the Rainy Lake Hotel this morning—laying down dirt to protect the ashpalt from falling debris before the next phase of demolition begins. The 200 block of Scott Street is closed to traffic today through Monday (Oct. 16-19) to ensure safety during the work. Pedestrian traffic isn’t affected, nor is traffic through the intersections at Mowat and Portage Avenues.
