Fort Frances High School hosted a pow-wow on its football field Tuesday, June 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event, which was scheduled to start an hour later was moved so students could attend on their lunch break. The host drum, Yerxa Traditional, helped lead singing and dancing throughout the day. The pow-wow featured many fun intricacies including a spot dance with random giveaways. Giz Health Access Centre and Treaty Three Police each had booths there as well.
