Fort Frances Power Corporation employees made quick work of an emergency repair Sunday morning, which saw many west end neighbourhoods without power. A lightening arrester was the cause of the outage. The safety device protects homes by forcing power into ground when it detects a surge, due to either a worn out part or a lightening strike.
