Robert Moore student Sabrina Jolicoeur’s poster is one of the local winners in the Fort Frances Lions Club’s annual peace poster contest, and it has been sent on to be judged at the “district” level. The other winners are Reece Philip Jones (Crossroads School), Cynthia Morrison (Mine Centre School), Sophie Potvin-Begin (St. Francis) and Julia Cawston (J.W. Walker). The five winning posters, as well as the runners-up from all the schools, will be on display at the Fort Frances Museum until the end of the month. An appreciation night for the local winners and their parents will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9 at St. John’s Anglican Church. This year’s theme for the poster contest was “Vision of Peace.”
