Polished swing

Lady-Raider-swing

For a fastball rookie, Kamryn Sandelovich had a pretty polished swing as she took her cuts in the sixth inning last night for the Couchiching Lady Raiders in their Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League game against the host Fort Frances Her-icanes at VanJura Park. The teenager grounded out to first on the play as part of the ’Canes 18-2 win over the Lady Raiders in East Division action. Tonight, it’s the men’s turn as a full slate of seven games takes place in the Rainy River District Fastball League, including the Fort Frances Braves at VanJura against the Manitou Thunderbirds and Windey’s Warriors entertaining the Northwest Bay Juniors at the Rodrick and Telford Bruyere Ball Field on Couchiching First Nation.
