Jamari Smith (foreground) and Issiah Fiessel worked on their counting skills during a game of “Snakes & Ladders” yesterday at the Aboriginal Head Start program here. The board games and activities were run yesterday and again today to celebrate Family Literacy Day (Jan. 27). Schools, organizations, and families across Canada are participating in the day, which aims to promote families learning and reading together. o
