George Oltsher addressed the crowd at Oltsher Field in Barwick yesterday prior to playing his final game as a Barwick Blue Knight after being tabbed the starting pitcher against the Stratton Bobcats. The 66-year-old has played for more than five decades and was an instrumental part of the Rainy River District Fastball League. His jersey has been retired and he’ll officially be inducted in the RRDFL Hall of Fame at the end of the season.
