Pet of the Week

Any ladies need a prom date? This guy already has a tuxedo. Meet Felix, this week’s Pet of the Week. Felix was found in the New Gold parking lot in the west end of town at the beginning of April. This 8–10-month-old male tuxedo is still more kitten than cat and loves to play. He has been in foster care for close to a month and has won the hearts of his foster family. He is good with kids, dogs, and other cats. (with proper introductions of course). He loves to snuggle and purr and is especially cuddly at bedtime. He still has plenty of kitten in him and will go crazy sometimes like all kittens do. He will be neutered in early May but could go to his forever home before that, although if the adopter wanted to wait until after his neuter that would be fine as well. We do not know a lot about Felix’s past, but we are hoping that you might want to be a part of his future. According to his foster Mom “He is going to be a very good boy for someone.”

If you are interested in adopting Felix, or would like more information about him, please contact us on FB Messenger or email us at Our adoption fee includes first set of shots, booster, and spay/neuter. We also stipulate (as do most rescues) that any cat adopted must be “indoor only”, unless the cat has been adopted at a reduced fee as a barn cat. We currently have seven cats available for adoption ranging in age from six months old to adult. An adult cat can be a fabulous companion and you don’t have to go through all the craziness of “kittenhood.”
