Evan Kabel, trailed by Teagan Wrolstad, cleared the puck out of their end as the PeeWee Canadians swept the visiting St. Boniface Seals in a three-game series over the weekend by scores of 5-1, 5-4, and 7-2. On Saturday, the team supported breast cancer awareness by wearing pink jerseys and stick tape. A bake sale also was held during the games that raised $905, which was donated to the Fort Frances Community Chest (chosen because it supports families battling breast cancer). The team wanted to keep the funds local and help out a great cause.
