Pioneer Construction continued its paving of Portage Avenue yesterday and today, seen here putting down the top layer of asphalt between First and Second Street East. They will have much of the job done by the end of the day before taking the weekend off due to the poor weather forecast. They will return Monday morning to complete the job by laying down the top lift of asphalt at the Third Street East intersection. A lane will be open for traffic while this work is being done.
