Fire Prevention Capt. Wayne Riches of the Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service helped pack up Christmas hampers on Dec. 17 at the Salvation Army here. A team consisting of Riches, Kyle Pace, Doug Wright, Real DeGagne, his daughter, Elizabeth DeGagne, Tyler Moffitt, Brad Townson, Dean Tibbs, and Gavin Payne put together more than 150 hampers. Volunteering to do so has become a longstanding holiday tradition for local frefighters.
