The Fort Frances Enhanced Hearing Centre was decked out in blue and gold to show its support for the Rainy River High School Owls at last week’s OFSAA curling championships at the Fort Frances Curling Club. Audiologist Jackie McCormick not only was an Owl herself but remains an competitive curler to this day, claiming silver at the world mixed curling championships back in October. The Owls’ rink, consisting of Mackenzie Jolicouer, Aynsley Williams, Madison Williams, Lynnelle Westover, and Cassidy Teeple, finished Pool ‘E’ play with a 4-1 record overall.
