Rod Davis and Maxine Hayes, with the local genealogy group, worked on displays tracing their respective family lineages in Rainy River District yesterday at the Fort Frances Museum—all part of the new exhibit, “Our Founding Families,” which opens there next week. The museum also is hosting an exhibit entitled “The Ukrainian Connection,” featuring the contribution of the Ukrainian community to our area, and is looking for local stories relating to Ukrainian family heritage, especially those of families who relocated to Rainy River District. February is “Family History Month.”
