Organizers of the Truth and Reconciliation Day events saw a spectacular showing of support and solidarity, as hundreds gathered for a march, which wound its way from the Sorting Gap Marina to the site of the the former St Margaret’s residential school. The day was marked with prayers, drumming, emotional memories and an inclusive powwow, which invited both Indigenous and settler communities to honour the ongoing path of reconciliation, together.
