Mrs. Harris, Mr. Brown and Mrs. Beck’s classes joined together for a photo for St. Michael’s School’s “Orange Shirt Day” on Tuesday. The school was holding the event in honour of “Orange Shirt Day” across the country that remembered those who were lost to, and impacted by, the residential school system from the late 1800s through 1996 when the last residential school operated by the Canadian government was closed.
