Local bowler Jeff Watts warmed up yesterday afternoon prior to the final five-game block of the Sunset Country ‘A’ Open hosted by Plaza Lanes. Watts totalled 5,394 pins over the two-day, 20-game tournament to take first place among the men. The top nine men and top nine women advanced to the provincial championships slated for April 4-7 in Thunder Bay, with Mike Behan being the other local bowler to qualify.
