Delbert Ross, right, tried for birdie on a short put on the ninth hole of the annual Frog Creek Open on Sunday morning but fell short. The “hackers” tournament, in which all participants must have a handicap of at least 15, draws many regulars who enjoy the easy-going atmosphere of the event, including Ross and his three flightmates. All four are regulars in the Frog Creek Open. “We haven’t improved, though,” cracked Dave Jorgenson (pictured on left).
