Students ran around a stick five times to get nice and dizzy before completing the obstacle course set up during the “School Rendez-Vous” yesterday at Pither’s Point Park. Held in conjunction with the arrival of the David Thompson Brigade here this Friday, about 400 students were on hand to have fun while learning all about Thompson, explorers, voyageurs, and the fur trade. Activities included capture the flag, tug-of-war, cat and mouse, portaging, and story-telling.
