No room at the inn

no room at inn

Braving frigid temperatures Friday evening, children and adults from St. John’s Anglican Church (dressed as shepherds, angels, wise men, and Joseph and Mary) were told there was no room at the Voyageur Inn as they looked around town for a place to stay. The scenario was acted out as part of “Las Posadas”—a traditional candle-lit procession that’s a symbolic way to commemorate the cold and difficult journey of Mary and Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of shelter.
