Renegades’ right-fielder Tamara Paul got some good extension as she attempted to make a nice grab on a fly ball during her team’s lopsided loss to the third-seeded Fort Frances Her-icanes in Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League Winner’s Side final playoff action last night at Oltsher Field in Barwick. The Her-icanes now advance to the league final, slated for Aug. 21 at 6 p.m., while the top-ranked Renegades will have to advance through the Loser’s Side of the bracket to get another shot at three-time defending champs.
