Jennifer Ryan of Ignace, above, and Sheila Brown, left, took advantage of the warm sunny weather as they waited for their next bites during the Fishing Derby that was held as part of the Nestor Falls Winter Carnival on Saturday. Prizes for the derby were awarded to the biggest fish in several categories, including perch, walleye, northern and trout.
