New street sign posts started appearing around Fort Frances last month—and now the new street signs themselves have been going up this week. The series of blue signs tie into Phase II of the Heritage Tourism Project, which also included the re-location of the Hallett and lookout tower to the riverfront near the Sorting Gap Marina. Next spring, the public can expect to see interpretive panels installed along the waterfront, as well as a series of wayfinding banners around town to lead visitors from the downtown core to the La Verendyre Parkway.
