Christie Scott, along with her daughter, Kara, and son, Gordy, used the recently-completed new sidewalk on the west side of the Portage Avenue underpass during a morning stroll yesterday. The public is reminded the underpass is completely closed to vehicular traffic today until 4 p.m. on Friday due to work there. But the new sidewalk will remain open for foot traffic.
