The former Movie Gallery on Scott Street will be the new home of the local Salvation Army, replacing its aging property on Victoria Avenue. While there still are many renovations to be done to the new property to make it suitable for community outreach, they are hoping to be moved into the new building by next summer. The new space will allow them the opportunity to grow their Thrift Store, worship space, and family services.
