Shannon King, First Nations’ co-ordinator with New Gold, discussed with David Wilkinson-Simard some of the employment opportunities that will be arising at the company’s Rainy River Project in the future during the employment open house yesterday at La Place Rendez-Vous. New Gold is anticipating filling more than 125 operator and maintenance positions through to early 2016. The New Gold team also will be on hand at the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce Business Expo on May 21-22.
