Insp Dave Lucas is settling in as the new Ontario Provincial Police detachment commander for the Fort Frances cluster. Insp. Lucas, who just moved here from Thunder Bay, commenced his duties Wednesday. Most recently, he’d been working as the unit commander for the Northwest Regional Professional Standards Branch. Former detachment commander S/Sgt. Hugh Dennis retired June 30 after 34 years of service, nearly 13 of which were in that role. —Duane Hicks photo
