More than two years in the making, the local Community Arts and Heritage Education Project—“What Hooks You Here?”—is nearing completion. While many hands have pulled loops on the rug-hooking project, Margaret Sedgwick, left, Judy Kielczewski, Debbie Ballard, and Barb Marr, as well as Ruth Brockie (not pictured), have been the mainstays diligently attending Wednesday work sessions at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre. The four panels hopefully will be completed prior to late May, when Ballard and Kielczewski head to North Bay, where they’ll be keynote speakers at the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild’s AGM.
