Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29, Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Fort Frances Royal Canadian Sea Cadets #144 gathered for a Day of Remembrance ceremony for merchant navy veterans yesterday morning at the local cenotaph. The ceremony, held to commemorate the Canadian merchant navy seamen who lost their lives during WWII, was held in conjunction with one at the National War Memorial in Ottawa.
