Frank Montano, from the Red Cliff reservation in Wisconsin, played one of his native flutes for students at Crossroads School in Devlin yesterday morning. Montano has been working within several Rainy River District School Board schools making traditional flutes with students, along with providing the cultural teachings that are connected to them. A talented musician, Montano also is playing a concert tonight at Rainy River First Nations, as well as holding workshops there tomorrow.
