The Fort Frances Muskies golf team capped a successful season last week with final wins at their home course at Kitchen Creek. The Muskie Girls team took top girls honours for the season. In individual competition Marlee Bliss took gold while Logan McPherson took the silver. In boys play, Fort Frances Boys Two took the season title with Fort Frances Boys One coming in second. The boys overall titles were won by golfers from St. Thomas Aquinas. After last weeks competition FFHS had several golfers in the NWOSSA championships in Thunder Bay on Monday. Logan McPherson took the girls title and will advance to compete at OFSAA. Maddy Bliss came fourth while Marlee Bliss finished fifth and Ella Evans finished 6th
In the boys’ division, Noah McPherson had the best finish among the Muskies in eleventh, eleven strokes back of the winning golfer from Thunder Bay.
Others taking part were Tayler Chown tying for 15th, Ashton Barnes tying for 18th, Kade Oster tying for 23rd, Jackson Tucker finished 36th, AJ Armstrong and Evan Wright tied for 40th, Alex Booth tied for 50th, and Teagan Wrolstad and Maverick Morrisseau tied for 52nd.
In the team standings, the Muskies Team One finished fourth while Team Two placed eighth.

The Muskie Golf Team took home some hardware during last week’s NorWOSSA, which took place at Kitchen Creek Gold Course, including a first place finish from the Boys Two team, below. Several golfers also took place in the NWOSSA on Monday; Logan McPherson, in the far right above, took the girls title there, and is headed for OFSAA.
Muskies Boys Two took the top place finish for the NorWOSSA golf final. The team is made up of Maverick Morrisseau, Alex Booth, A.J Armstrong, Jackson Tucker, Teagan Wrolstad.
